The BHRDS is a premier event hosted annually by the HRDC in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and several other stakeholders.

The Human Resource Development Council and its partners will host the 2024 Edition of the Botswana Human Resource Development Skills (BHRDS) Fair and Career Clinics.

HRDC is coordinating a pilot project on transferring Indigenous Knowledge and Skills from the Elderly to Youth. A Capacity-building workshop to transfer basket weaving skills targeting 20 Botswana citizen youth residing in Maun is ongoing.

In an effort to broaden the understanding as well as to identify the skills availability of the Creative Industries sector, HRDC recently visited Kuru Arts Project in D’Kar and Poetavango in Maun on the 5th and 6th December 2023.
