Ms Faith Tuelo

Manager, Stakeholder Relations

Ms Faith Tuelo is the Manager, Stakeholder Relations at The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). She is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP). She holds MSc. Strategic Management- Marketing Communications, Change Communications and Project Management obtained from the University of Derby, UK in 2012. She also has a Bachelor of Arts - Mass Communications – Valparaiso University, Indiana, USA in 2001.  Her role at HRDC entails overall strategic direction of the Marketing Communications function which oversees image optimisation, reputation management, stakeholder management and engagement, branding, publicity, corporate citizenship management, corporate social responsibility as well as promotion of the HRDC services.

Prior to working for T.E.C, she had worked at the BotswanaPost as the Corporate Communications Officer. Ms Tuelo has 14 years’ experience in the corporate communications, marketing, change communication, media and communications and stakeholder relations. She has worked as a media practitioner on both television and radio and has extensive knowledge of the local media landscape. She has sound media relations. Ms Tuelo has attended many professional and developmental courses including: Public Relations Management (PRISA), Public Relations Practice (PRISA), Public Relations Writing (PRISA),  Creative Writing, Stakeholder and Reputation Management, Strategic Communications, Crisis Management and Public Relations Workshop, Brand Management, Stakeholder Relations Master Class, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service, Diplomacy and Protocol, Social Media marketing (Digital Marketing), Project Management and Enterprise Risk Management.

She is the Regional Chairperson for the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) Botswana Chapter and also a member of PRISA.
