Mr Gokaiwamang Hetolang


Mr Gokaiwamang Mokolobetsi Hetolang is the  Managing Director of the newly established Chelwood Consulting Engineers & Project Managers, involved in the marketing of the firm, making proposals for consultancy designs in the areas of water/waste-water, landfills, land reclamation, roads, civil/structural engineering, general infrastructure projects, construction supervision of projects, investigative work on old dilapidated buildings, detection of water supply leakages, and carry out Environment Impact Assessment (EIA)  for infrastructure projects.

He is a Civil Engineering professional with 28 years of experience. He has designed and supervised Township/Rural Infrastructure projects mainly Building Works, Urban Abattoirs facilities and associated works, Fire Stations, Bus Ranks, Roads and Storm Water Drainage System, Landfills, Water Supplies, Sewage Treatment Works and Sewerage Reticulation Systems, Power and Telecommunication Services.

Mr Hetolang has previously worked with District Councils, the then Department of Local Government and Development, Department of Sanitation and Waste Management from 1984 to February 2003. He started working with Eight Firms of Consulting Engineers and Project Management in 2003 and he is currently still with the team. 

He holds the following qualifications, Postgraduate Certificate in Environmental Engineering from University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom graduated in May 1996, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from the University of Hertfordshire, graduated in July 1993 and Diploma in Water Engineering from City and Guilds. He is a registered member of the Botswana Institute of Engineers and the Engineers Registration Board of Botswana (ERB).
